Terms of Service
The rules for creating an account and participating in Uncüth. Effective 2 August 2026.
Eligibility and agreement
By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. Member accounts require you to be at least 18 years old. Partner accounts currently support Mentors and require you to be at least 22 years old. These are strict Uncüth service policies. You must provide accurate account information and must not create an account for someone who is below the relevant age.
Identity and role verification are not required simply to join. Verification will initially be optional and opt-in. We may later require prior approval or verification for particular account types or actions before enabling them, and will explain the requirement before requesting additional information. Access may still be limited or removed for safety, misuse, or policy violations.
Member eligibility is open to any adult aged 18 or older, whether or not they are enrolled in education. The optional student-status answer helps us tailor the experience and does not affect eligibility.
Your account
Keep access to your email and account secure. Do not share credentials, impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, or use another person’s personal data without authority. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account except where caused by Uncüth or its providers.
Community conduct
Use Uncüth lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, groom, deceive, stalk, dox, or endanger another person. Do not publish unlawful content, malware, spam, scams, intimate material without consent, or personal information you do not have the right to share. Do not interfere with service security, scrape restricted information, or bypass access controls.
Mentorship
Mentorship is voluntary guidance, not a promise of employment, admission, funding, an introduction, or a particular outcome. Mentors decide whether and how to respond. Members remain responsible for their own decisions. Every Mentor and Member must follow the Mentorship Policy, including its boundaries and anti-predatory rules.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You give Uncüth a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and present the service according to your audience settings. You may delete content where the feature permits or request help. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to limited backups, prior sharing, safety records, and legal retention.
If a Mentor who has chosen verification asks Uncüth to help interview, structure, edit, or format a profile, response, article, or other contribution, the Mentor remains responsible for the substance. Nothing will be attributed to that Mentor or published under their identity without review and approval. We will not invent or misrepresent their views. Where a feature offers a reusable representation of the contribution, we will show the relevant audience or approval choice before publication.
Aggregated and de-identified information
Uncüth may analyse Asks and other activity to identify recurring needs, improve routing, operate the service, and understand aggregate demand. Public aggregate information must not intentionally identify a Member unless that Member separately chooses to publish the relevant content. Aggregation does not guarantee that two situations are identical or that one response is appropriate for everyone.
Professional links and commercial relationships
A Mentor may share a professional link or separately offer a paid service. Any service, fee, referral, affiliation, or other commercial relationship must be described transparently and must remain voluntary. Disclose a paid, affiliate, or connected-business relationship beside the relevant link or recommendation; a general profile disclosure is not enough. Paid placement, spam, and promoted content are not permitted on current mentorship surfaces. Unless Uncüth expressly states otherwise, an off-platform engagement is between the Mentor and Member, and is not operated, supervised, endorsed, or guaranteed by Uncüth.
Moderation and account action
We may review reports, limit visibility, remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, or end access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or the service, comply with law, or investigate abuse. Serious or repeated safety violations may lead to immediate action. Contact us if you believe an action was mistaken.
Early service and availability
Uncüth is developing in cohorts. Features, matching, eligibility checks, and availability may change, pause, or end. We do not guarantee that a request will receive a response or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We will try to communicate material changes that affect your account.
Third-party services
Links, authentication providers, email providers, and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Uncüth is not responsible for an independent third party’s service, content, or decisions merely because it is linked or used for infrastructure.
Safety and professional advice
Uncüth is not an emergency service. Mentorship and community content are not a substitute for qualified legal, medical, mental-health, financial, or other regulated professional advice. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local service. Report an Uncüth safety concern through Contact us.
Ending your account
You may stop using Uncüth and request account deletion. Provisions that by their nature need to survive—such as content already shared with others, safety records, ownership, disclaimers, and legal obligations—may continue to apply.
Operator and contact
Uncüth Social Club is operated by IG9Labs LLC. Mentions of “Uncüth”, “we”, or “us” refer to that initiative unless stated otherwise. Questions about these Terms may be sent through Contact us.
